My life has now come full circle. I have returned to my home town of Honesdale, PA, a small community in the foothills of the Pocono Mountains. I mainly teach high school Ceramics, but also teach Arts and Crafts, Computer Graphics, and Jewelry Making. Where once there was just Art I, II, and III, there is now a terrific art curriculum being offered to students who wish to explore and expose themselves to art. I am proud to be a part of a school system which supports the Arts. Many students find that their strength lies in the right side of their brain. What a gift to be a part of these developing students lives! It is wonderful to be able to share my belief in Art.
I continue to work and grow as an artist. I enjoy working with a large variety of materials; including clay, metal, textiles, wood, and watercolors. I have never let the medium limit my creativity, but rather, conceive of a project first, and then decide what material best suits my creative expression. I hope that through my artwork and teaching, I can help others express themselves creatively.
